陛下之UB-23號艇（德語：SM UB 23[註 1]）是德意志帝國海軍於第一次世界大戰期間建造的其中一艘UB-II型近岸潛艦（英語：Coastal submarine）或稱U艇。它由漢堡的布洛姆與福斯船廠承建，於1915年10月9日下水，至1916年3月2日交付使用（英語：Ship commissioning）。其艇載武器包括兩具500公釐的艇艏魚雷發射管以及一門50公釐口徑甲板炮（英語：Deck gun）。

UB-23號的整個服役生涯都是在法蘭德斯區艦隊度過的，並參與了大西洋潛艦戰。在總共21次巡邏期間，該艇累計擊沉了51艘協約國或中立國商船，容積總噸為33880噸。1917年7月26日，UB-23號在利澤德附近遭英國海軍巡邏艦PC-60號投擲的深水炸彈而嚴重受損；至拉科魯尼亞擱岸後被西班牙當局扣留。戰後，根據停戰協議的要求，該艇於1919年1月被引渡至法國正式投降，最終在瑟堡拆解報廢。

設計

第一次世界大戰爆發後，隨著U艇戰（英語：U-boat campaign）形勢的發展，UB-I型潛艦排水量過小、適航性不佳、推進系統可靠性低等問題愈發凸顯。其水面航速甚至追不上商船，以5節（9.3公里每小時）航速潛航1小時後，蓄電池電能便會耗盡。它們甚至無力應對多佛爾海峽8至10節（15至19公里每小時）的海流。為此，潛艦監察局於1915年4月研發了UB-I型潛艦的放大版——UB-II型，並由德國國家海軍辦公室委託兩家造船廠建造。[9]其中UB-23號是由漢堡布洛姆與福斯船廠承建的第六艘，於1915年10月9日下水。[2]

UB-23號的水面及水下排水量分別為270噸和292噸，全長36.13公尺，艇體採用單殼體加鞍形水櫃（英語：Saddle tank (submarine)）構造。由於突破了鐵路限界（英語：Loading gauge），舷寬也得以增至4.36公尺。該艇採用雙槳驅動，具有更大的蓄電池容量和更高功率的發動機。其主機為兩台科爾庭（英語：Körting Hannover）六缸四衝程280匹公制馬力（210千瓦特）柴油機用於水面運行，以及兩台相同功率的西門子-舒克特（英語：Siemens-Schuckert）電動發電機用於水下航行；水面最高航速9.15節（16.95公里每小時），水下5.81節（10.76公里每小時）；能夠在水面以5節航速續航6,450海里（11,950公里），或以4節（7.4公里每小時）連續在水下航行45海里（83公里）而無需充電。[3]蓄電池被放置在中央潛櫃的前方，以配平更重的發動機安裝。[10]其最大潛水深度為50公尺，潛沒需時為30－45秒。[9]

UB-23號的主武器為兩具500公釐艇艏魚雷發射管，採用層疊式布局，以實現可以創造最佳表面效率的舷弧設計；魚雷攜帶量增至4枚，魚雷威力亦顯著提高。輔助武器是一門50公釐甲板炮（英語：5 cm SK L/40 gun）。司令塔增加了一具潛望鏡，並配備了1根兩段式可伸縮通信桅杆，前水平舵外形也做了調整。[9]其標準船員編制為2名軍官加21名水兵。[3]

服役歷史

1916年3月13日，UB-23號在前UB-6號艇長、海軍中尉恩斯特·福格特的指揮下正式入役（英語：Ship commissioning），隨即展開海試。[4][2]完成海試後，該艇獨力駛往澤布呂赫，於1916年5月19日正式加入法蘭德斯區艦隊。[11]在法蘭德斯服役期間，UB-23號參與了大西洋潛艦戰，曾先後執行21次巡邏，累計擊沉了51艘協約國或中立國商船，容積總噸為33880噸。[12]

1917年7月26日，UB-23號在利澤德附近遭英國海軍巡邏艦PC-60號投擲的深水炸彈而嚴重受損；7月29日至拉科魯尼亞擱岸後，連同全艇23名官兵被西班牙當局扣留直至戰爭結束。戰後，根據停戰協議的要求，該艇於1919年1月22日被引渡至法國正式投降，最終於1921年7月在瑟堡拆解報廢。[2]
