陛下之22號潛艇（德語：SM U 22[註 1]）是德意志帝國海軍建造的一艘潛艇或稱U艇。它由但澤的帝國船廠承建，於1913年3月6日下水，至同年11月25日交付使用（英語：Ship commissioning）。U-22號是在第一次世界大戰海戰期間服役的329艘德國潛艇之一，並參加了大西洋潛艇戰役。在其十四次巡邏中，共擊沉了43艘船隻，容積總噸為46521噸。此外，它還擊傷了3艘總噸位為8988噸的商船，並俘獲了一艘1170總噸的戰利船。戰後，根據對德停戰協議的要求，U-22號於1918年12月1日被引渡至哈維奇正式向協約國投降。1919年3月3日，英國海軍部以2975英鎊的價格將其（連同它的一台發動機）售予休斯·博爾科（英語：Hughes Bolckow），並於1919年至1922年間在布萊斯拆解報廢。

歷史

U-22號是作為德意志帝國海軍潛艇局（U-Boot-Inspektion）的「20型項目」之一，於1910年11月25日向但澤的帝國船廠訂購。它自1911年11月14日開始鋪設龍骨，1913年3月6日下水，至1913年11月25日在海軍上尉布魯諾·霍佩的指揮下入役（英語：Ship commissioning）。[4]從1916年8月23日至1917年5月31日，該艇由卡爾·舍布指揮。1917年6月1日，欣里希·赫爾曼·哈沙根接管了指揮權，他一直擔任該艇長直至戰爭結束。在其任期內，U-22號取得了最大的成就，共擊沉28艘商船，其中包括5629總噸的英國客輪加利福尼亞號（California）——它在距離維蘭岬（英語：Cape Vilan）約145海里（269公里）的方位沉沒。[5]

1915年1月20日，U-22號在時任艇長霍佩的指揮下離開英國海岸，返回埃姆登。它於翌日在阿默蘭島以北的荷蘭海岸附近遇到了己方潛艇U-7號。由於能見度低，霍佩沒有意識到這是一艘德國U艇。U-22號發送了一個識別信號，U-7號沒有應答。相反，後者正試圖以越來越快的速度離開。U-22號的另一個信號也沒有得到應答。在第三次信號仍然沒有應答後，霍佩下令發射了兩枚魚雷，其中一枚擊中U-7號的司令塔。該艇隨即在53°25′48″N 6°02′00″E / 53.43000°N 6.03333°E / 53.43000; 6.03333 (SM U-7)的方位沉沒。1位能夠離開沉船的船員被U-22號救起，其餘24人則全數遇難，霍佩這才意識到自己的致命錯誤。[6]

1917年4月6日，U-22號在日德蘭半島西岸布拉萬德（德語：Blåvand）對開的號角礁（德語：Horns Rev）附近撞上了一枚英國水雷。這是三艘英國佈雷艇在德國雷區的「藍色出口」佈設的1235枚水雷之一。儘管潛艇的的艇艉已被水雷完全炸毀，但U-22號仍能夠由德國魚雷艇拖行回港。艇只隨後得到修復，並運用至戰爭結束。[7]
