陛下之16號潛艇（德語：SM U 16^{[註 1]}）是德意志帝國海軍建造的一艘潛艇或稱U艇。它由基爾的日耳曼尼亞船廠承建，於1911年8月29日下水，至同年12月28日交付使用（英語：Ship commissioning）。U-16號是在第一次世界大戰海戰期間服役的329艘德國潛艇之一，並參加了大西洋潛艇戰役。在其四次巡邏中，該艇共擊沉了11艘協約國或中立國商船，容積總噸為11730噸。戰後，U-16號在被引渡至英國途中因事故沉沒。

歷史

U-16號是由德意志帝國海軍於1909年8月26日向基爾的日耳曼尼亞船廠訂購。艇只於1911年8月29日下水，至同年12月28日交付使用（英語：Ship commissioning）。^[3]其首任艇長為海軍中尉保羅·克拉倫巴赫。

在1914年至1918年間，U-16號共執行了13次作戰任務，其中4次為巡邏。潛艇船員共擊沉了11艘、擊傷2艘、繳獲1艘協約國或中立國商船，容積總噸達23796噸。^[4]該艇在第一次世界大戰中倖存下來，但在1919年2月8日，U-16號作為戰利艇在移交英國的途中因發生事故而在北海沉沒。沉沒地點大致位於53°59′N 8°25′E / 53.983°N 8.417°E / 53.983; 8.417座標：53°59′N 8°25′E / 53.983°N 8.417°E / 53.983; 8.417處。^[5]
