Google Currents（原名为Google+ for G Suite）是Google为企业内部交流而开发的软件[1][2][3][4][5]，为Google Workspace产品之一[6]。
Google Currents与英文同名的Google潮流同步无关，后者为2013年停止服务的电子杂志阅览器[7][8]。
前身
2011年6月底，Google公司推出社交网络服务Google+。虽然Google野心勃勃，企图以此打败竞争对手Facebook，成为第一大社交网站[9][10]，并且在2013年1月份，曾超越Twitter，一度成为世界上第二大的社交网站。[11]但在之后的几年，其用户参与度低，加上于2018年3月发现可能会导致数十万名的用户资料外泄潜在的软件漏洞[12]，但Google没有在发现漏洞时主动告知用户，而在后来才承认存在漏洞[13][14]。Google决定在2019年4月2日关停消费者（个人）版本的Google+。个人用户可以在关停前下载并迁移他们的资讯；企业版则加入 Google Workspace 重新设计[15][16]。
产品发展
最初产品名为“Google+ for G Suite”，是Google+企业版结束后的后继服务。
2019年4月10日，Google+ for G Suite更名为Google Currents，进入Beta测试阶段[17][18][19][20]。2020年7月6日，Google Currents正式上线。 [21][22][23]
2022年2月11日，Google宣布计划逐步停用Google Currents，并将用户转移到Google Chat[24]。

Google内部人员则在今年3月发现漏洞后作出补救，不过公司内部开会决定，不把这件事通知用户，避免声誉受损，或成为监管机构的针对对象。Google当时向管理层分析，如果对外公布相关消息，令监管机构Google愈来愈对有兴趣，甚至可能成为面簿的“剑桥分析泄密事故”翻版。
