Google Currents（原名為Google+ for G Suite）是Google為企業內部交流而開發的軟件[1][2][3][4][5]，為Google Workspace產品之一[6]。
Google Currents與英文同名的Google潮流同步無關，後者為2013年停止服務的電子雜誌閱覽器[7][8]。
前身
2011年6月底，Google公司推出社交網絡服務Google+。雖然Google野心勃勃，企圖以此打敗競爭對手Facebook，成為第一大社交網站[9][10]，並且在2013年1月份，曾超越Twitter，一度成為世界上第二大的社交網站。[11]但在之後的幾年，其用戶參與度低，加上於2018年3月發現可能會導致數十萬名的用戶資料外洩潛在的軟件漏洞[12]，但Google沒有在發現漏洞時主動告知用戶，而在後來才承認存在漏洞[13][14]。Google決定在2019年4月2日關停消費者（個人）版本的Google+。個人用戶可以在關停前下載並遷移他們的資訊；企業版則加入 Google Workspace 重新設計[15][16]。
產品發展
最初產品名為「Google+ for G Suite」，是Google+企業版結束後的後繼服務。
2019年4月10日，Google+ for G Suite更名為Google Currents，進入Beta測試階段[17][18][19][20]。2020年7月6日，Google Currents正式上線。 [21][22][23]
2022年2月11日，Google宣佈計劃逐步停用Google Currents，並將用戶轉移到Google Chat[24]。

Google內部人員則在今年3月發現漏洞後作出補救，不過公司內部開會決定，不把這件事通知用戶，避免聲譽受損，或成為監管機構的針對對象。Google當時向管理層分析，如果對外公佈相關訊息，令監管機構Google愈來愈對有興趣，甚至可能成為Facebook的「劍橋分析洩密事故」翻版。
