第十七次動員令正式收官
中文維基百科第十七次動員令所有覆核及頒獎工作已經於1月6日22時（UTC+8）結束。以下是本次動員令的總結報告：
第十七次動員令總結報告
致全體維基人：
首先，祝大家新年快樂！預祝大家春節快樂！各位在去年（2019年）7月6日至9月8日間參與第十七次動員令的維基人，感謝各位的參與和付出！
今天，我們終於又離2019年遠了一些：我們在2019年沒有完成的事情，終於在2020年的第一周里結束了。今天，我們終於可以正式就於2019年7月6日至9月8日間在中文維基百科上舉辦的中文維基百科第十七次動員令，做一正式的總結。
一、條目數量和質量
本次動員令總貢獻條目922條，與上屆（第十六次動員令，2018年）基本上持平。在65日的動員令期間內，平均每天即有14.18個合乎標準的貢獻被提交；折算到每位報名成功的參與者上，則是每人6.63個條目。
922條貢獻中，212條屬於對已經有的條目的改善工程。從第十四次動員令起展開的改善工程計劃，對維基百科的整體質量的提升起到了一定幫助。710條屬於新建條目，佔到同期中文維基百科淨增的8,179個條目的8.68%——或者更直觀一點，動員令舉辦的65日裏，每約11.5個新建的條目中，就有一個條目符合動員令的各項標準，並且參加了本次動員令。
本次動員令共產生60篇優良條目、54篇特色列表和3篇典範條目。本次動員令產生的優良條目數量和特色內容（特色列表和典範條目相加），皆是歷屆動員令之最。特色列表評選改革，激發了社群創建相應內容的極大熱情，使得本次動員令期間特色列表出現了井噴式增長。
本次動員令是史上第一次對自行製作並貢獻的多媒體項目進行額外鼓勵的動員令。380餘張照片和自製原創圖片、7段視頻和20篇有聲條目，極大增加了維基百科條目的廣度和深度，充分發揮了線上百科全書交互性的優勢：在鋱化合物條目中，讀者可以看到有關化學反應的全過程；在天津博物館條目中，讀者足不出戶就能看到她的館藏，這使得相關條目變得更直觀、更親近讀者。
條目的質量和數量並重，一直是動員令的指導方針。一個充斥着低質內容的維基百科，對人類認識世界、求索新知沒有任何作用，反倒適得其反。本次動員令相比往次，提高了對參考資料的要求。中立觀點是維基百科的支柱，而可靠來源則是支柱的基礎，一個沒有可靠來源的條目遑論其更高層次的發展；事實也證明了，對參考資料的更高要求不僅沒有影響動員令的開展，對廣大參與者條目質量的整體的促進也是立竿見影的。
二、參與者
本次動員令共吸引了164人報名參與，其中139人提交了一條合乎標準的條目，完成了報名；126人完成了本次動員令，占成功報名者的90.65%，是除去整個社群都相對謹慎的時期舉辦的第十二次、第十三次動員令以外，有數據可證的歷次動員令中完成率最高的一次。
本次動員令共有27位新編者（報名參加本次動員令時加入維基百科不足半年或做出編輯不足1000次的編者）完成了動員令；還有一些新編者雖然沒能完成動員令，但他們也收穫了一定成長。在此我們想特別對這些沒能完成動員令的新編者給予一點鼓勵。動員令不是維基百科的全部，維基百科社群隨時歡迎您為人類知識的寶庫做出有益的貢獻，相信當下一次動員令召開時，我們能看見更好的您。
與新編者遙相呼應的，則是常青樹的默默付出與擔當。本次動員令誕生了一位第十三次完成動員令的編者，以及一位四度獲得良將頭銜（三次完成動員令）的編者。這些長期為維基百科付出的同仁，確實是我們這些後進者的楷模和榜樣。
本次動員令開設了7個中小動員令，在各個主題之下，都湧現了一批富有專業精神和奉獻精神的編者。有的編者，在單個主題下提報20餘條貢獻，豪取2,000餘積分；有的編者將一個條目、幾個條目寫到自己所能寫作的最極致，也獲得了社群的最高評價；有的編者身處在西歐某國，於是該國的大小城鎮，條目質量皆得到了長足的改善，有了實景圖片，也有了更詳細的介紹。本次動員令有7人積分達1,000分以上，最多者積分達3,391分；8人貢獻20條以上，最多者貢獻61條。事實再次證明：維基百科不是互煮出來的，是無數維基人用可靠的來源編織成的縝密的思維網絡搭接而成的，而在建設維基百科這個問題上，比張開大嘴努力說更有力的，永遠是擼起袖子加油干。
本次動員令是主持人最多的一次，共有11人擔任主持人職務。主持人團隊來自中國大陸、香港、台灣、新加坡等地，所處的環境不同、思維方式各異、時間及日程安排也各不相同，而且一個團隊人越多越不容易形成共識，但本次動員令的主持人團隊克服了各種困難，堅持以動員令規則為準繩，以服務廣大參與者為指南，堅強的完成了本次動員令的主持人工作。尤其是來自香港的三位主持人，在香港極度混亂的社會局勢下，仍然認真負責的擔起動員令主持人的重擔，並順利完成有關工作，令人敬佩。
本次動員令評審的效率相比往屆有了明顯提升，除了主持人增多的原因以外，更重要的原因是有熱心的維基人主動承擔起製作自動評審程序的任務，並應用在本次動員令之中，極大提升了評審效率。在此我們再次對這位維基人對本次動員令開展所作的的突出技術貢獻表示感謝。
總結
第十七次動員令最終還是落下了帷幕。總結報告已經寫好，頭銜和完成證明已經發放。回首從去年（2019年）4月開始，在籌備、進行、總結各個階段，整個社群的同仁各抒己見、各盡所能、集思廣益，才換來了本次動員令的完全成功。在這裏，我們作為本次動員令的主持人團隊，再次感謝整個社群對本次動員令的支持，尤其感謝本次動員令參與者們的參與和貢獻。
斗轉星移，歲月變遷。嶄新的2020年已經來臨，我們都在時針跨過12的那一刻，許下了新的願望，定下了新的目標。新的一年，會有新的時事等着我們關注，新的人物等着我們敘寫，新的概念等着我們介紹——當然，也會有第十八次動員令，等着我們參與——但更重要的是，我們在這一歲歲的輪迴流轉中，作為一個百科全書編者，以中立客觀的觀點去書寫，以溫和友善的語言去交流，合力將中立、全面、準確的知識，交給整個中文社會。我們相信，我們做得到，大家做得到。

Join us to celebrate the local cultural heritage of your region with the theme of folklore in the international photography contest at Wikimedia Commons. Images, videos and audios representing different forms of folk cultures and new forms of heritage that haven’t otherwise been documented so far are welcome submissions in Wiki Loves Folklore. It is usually a solitary insect, and it is only in India that it has exhibited swarming behaviour. The last plague of this locust was in that country between 1901 and 1908 and there have not been any swarms since 1927. It is thought that the behaviour of the insects has altered because of changing practices in agricultural land use.
