鸟龙鸟科（学名：Avisauridae）是白垩纪时期北美洲及南美洲的一科反鸟亚纲鸟类[3]，其下有8个属。[4]
分类历史
鸟龙鸟科是于1985年成立，包含了一些最初被认为是细小兽脚亚目恐龙的化石。[5]
路易斯·恰佩（Luis M. Chiappe）后来将鸟龙鸟科重置到鸟纲及反鸟亚纲之下，指它们的第三趾向背面横凸得很厉害、第三趾滑车内侧边缘明显突出、及跖骨两侧扁平及呈J状。[6]他进一步将鸟龙鸟科定义为内乌肯鸟及鸟龙鸟的共同祖先，与及所有后裔。于2008年，鸟龙鸟科重新被定义为鸟龙鸟及所有相关的属，而疏于长翼鸟、戈壁鸟或中国鸟。[4]

习性
恰佩等人发现鸟龙鸟科的拇趾是完全反向及有一大爪，显示它们可以站在树上。[7]
