簧龙属（学名：Calamosaurus）是虚骨龙类的一个属小型恐龙，化石发现于英国怀特岛郡的威塞克斯组，地质年代属于下白垩纪的巴列姆阶。它的化石是两节颈椎（编号BMNH R901），是由威廉·达尔文·福克斯（William Darwin Fox）所发掘的。

历史及分类

在1889年，理查德·莱德克（Richard Lydekker）在将福克斯发现的化石重新归类、编号时，发现这些骨头与虚骨龙的相似性，并命名为福氏簧椎龙（Calamospondylus foxi）^[1]。但是，福克斯在1866年已使用了簧椎龙这个名字^[2]。里德克于是在1891年将之更名为福氏簧龙（Calamosaurus foxi）^[3]。同时，里德克将一条胫骨（编号BMNH R186）暂时性地编入于此属，而这条胫骨可能是属于虚骨龙类的基底物种，类似美颌龙科^[4]。

由于簧龙的化石稀少，簧龙受到的关注很少。虽然簧龙与簧椎龙没有任何可以比较的化石部份^[4]，但它在分类上仍经常被认为是簧椎龙的异名，造成分类上的困难^[5]^[6]^[7]。目前簧龙被认为有可能是虚骨龙类恐龙^[4]，但也有研究认为簧龙是兽脚亚目的一个疑名^[8]^[9]。

古生物学

簧龙是种基础需骨龙类恐龙，可能是小型、敏捷的双足肉食性恐龙。簧龙的身长约为3-5米长，根据颈椎的大小，可推测其头部很小^[4]。
