HD 45350是一顆8等恆星，位於大約160光年之外的御夫座中。這是一顆黃次巨星（光譜分類 G5 IV），也就是一顆內部已結束氫核融合的類太陽恆星。儘管它溫度稍低，但不考慮它的次巨星狀態的話它的光度高一些。然而，這顆恆星已經很老了，將很快開始膨脹，成為一顆紅巨星。
行星系
2005年1月，利克–卡內基系外行星搜索計劃（Lick–Carnegie Exoplanet Survey）宣布發現了一顆離心率很高的太陽系外行星 圍繞這顆恆星公轉。[5]
