北方刺鱥（学名：Lepidomeda copei）为辐鳍鱼纲鲤形目雅罗鱼科的其中一种，被IUCN列为近危保育类动物，分布于北美洲美国怀俄明州、爱达荷州、犹他州的蛇河及熊河流域，主要特征为体延长且侧扁，眼大，口端位鳞片小，外观似皮革，侧线鳞片68-85枚，银蓝色背面和侧面有黑色斑点，背鳍具8条鳍条，臀鳍有8条射线，咽齿1,4-4,1至2,5-4,2，繁殖期时雄鱼臀鳍基部、尾鳍下部和鳃盖上缘红色，体长可达15公分，它的栖息地是凉爽的小溪和水流适中的河流，成鱼聚集在水池或浅滩中，而幼鱼则喜欢靠近岸边有灌木丛的安静区域。
