历史
Kropp Circle（2008–2011）
Palaye Royale最初是以Kropp Circle之名出道的乐团，由吉他手赛巴斯汀·丹兹格（Sebastian Danzig，当时16岁）、主唱雷明顿·莱斯（Remington Leith，当时14岁）及鼓手爱默生·巴雷特（Emerson Barrett，当时12岁）三兄弟组成，其乐团名取自他们的出生姓氏（Kropp）[3]。乐团于2008年成立后，他们在YouTube上发布的翻唱影片引起了大众的注意，但他们也致力于创作原创歌曲。此时的Kropp Circle的Myspace页面吸引了超过1100万人关注[3]。

Palaye Royale（2012–至今）

2020年3月20日，Palaye Royale宣布了他们的第三张专辑《混蛋》将于2020年5月29日发行[19]。他们开始了《混蛋》的世界巡回演唱会，以纪念新时代的开始。他们穿越了英国和欧洲。在巡回演出中，由于违反乐团演出场地规则（他们不同意避免采取可能对观众安全构成危险的行为），他们在苏格兰格拉斯哥的表演开始的几个小时前被取消[20]。他们在英格兰伯明翰的表演也因公安问题而被取消；改在伍尔弗汉普顿KK's Steel Mill演出后[21]，由于2019冠状病毒病疫情的影响而被迫取消其余的演出行程（如布拉格、维也纳和米兰）[22]，并在航班关闭前从巴黎赶回洛杉矶[23]。5月29日，第三张专辑《混蛋》正式发行[24]。
2020年6月，在透过Twitter与未成年人进行不适当的交流之后，针对巡回贝斯手丹尼尔·库西奥（Daniel Curcio）提出了多项性行为不端指控。6月10日，乐团发表声明说，他们不容忍他的行为，而取消他和乐团的合作关系[25][26]。
2021年7月5日，乐团宣布新专辑时代的开始，即将发行的两首新单曲[27]。7月9日，分别名为《洛城没有爱》（No love in LA）和《出气筒》（Punching bag）的两首单曲发布。2021年10月11日，再度发布新单曲《妄想症》（Paranoid）[28]。Palaye Royale2021年11月16日受访时宣布专辑名为《发烧梦》（Fever Dream）。12月23日，他们宣布下一首单曲为《破碎》（Broken）。[29]《破碎》于2022年5月20日释出[30]。
音乐风格
Palaye Royale经常被描述将自身风格定义为：时尚-艺术摇滚[31][32]，以及被归类于摇滚[33]、华丽摇滚[34]、独立摇滚[35]、车库摇滚[36]，并引用动物乐队、脸乐队、小脸乐队、滚石乐队、大门乐队、大卫·鲍伊、暴龙乐团、地下丝绒和古典音乐作为其影响对象[31]。《经典摇滚》将他们的风格描述为“从受到我的另类罗曼史影响的摇滚到纽约娃娃乐团般的朋克碰撞而出的硬核蓝调”[37]。
