阿洪姆文是一個位於第一輔助平面的Unicode區塊，收錄了阿洪姆文字符。13至18世紀期間，印度阿薩姆邦的阿洪姆人用阿洪姆文書寫阿洪姆語。[3] [4]
在14.0版本，阿洪姆文區塊末端擴充了16個碼位，並增加了7個字符（13.0版本：1173F → 14.0版本：1174F）。[5]，這是自1.1版本以來首次有即有區段擴展。
