王子逸[2]（英語：Lulu Wang[3]，1983年2月25日—），女，美籍華裔導演、編劇、製片人，導演編劇作品有《身後事（英語：Posthumous (film)）》（2014）和《別告訴她》（2019），此外還製作執導過多部短片、紀錄片和音樂錄影帶。

生平

家庭背景

1983年出生的王子逸生於中國北京，父親是中華人民共和國駐蘇聯大使館的外交官[4]，母親是前北京《文藝報》的文化評論人兼編劇[4]。

成長經歷

王子逸自小在北京長大，也曾在長春與奶奶一起生活。6歲時，父親要到邁阿密大學攻讀博士，舉家搬到美國佛羅里達州邁阿密[5]。

由於4歲時開始學鋼琴，她已是一位受過訓練的鋼琴演奏者，後來赴新世界藝術學院（英語：New World School of the Arts）進修[6][7]。

2001年，王子逸前往波士頓學院就讀。2005年，憑著創意寫作專業，畢業於波士頓學院的文學士學位[8]。

生涯

2008年搬到洛杉磯不久後，王子逸與貝爾納黛特·比爾吉（Bernadette Bürgi）一起擔任製片人的實習生。兩人一次去逛宜家時，得知彼此都喜歡講故事和浪漫喜劇電影，於是萌生了共同拍電影的想法[9]。也是從這趟旅程開始，王子逸執導了多部網絡短劇和音樂錄影帶，並在2014年執導了自己的首部長片《身後事（英語：Posthumous (film)）》[10]。影片於慕尼黑電影節和邁阿密國際電影節首映後[11]，於全球上映。2014年，王子逸獲得獨立精神獎查茲和羅傑·埃伯特導演獎金，還在同年被選為獨立電影作品參與導演獎金[12]。

2015年，王子逸短片《Touch》在棕櫚泉國際短片電影節首播[13]，入選美國電影院（英語：American Cinematheque）年度女性導演論壇的NBC環球短片電影節最終名單[14]，贏得該電影屆的亞洲人最佳戲劇片將。

2016年5月，王子逸為美國全國公共廣播電台節目《This American Life》撰寫並播講了一則故事[15]。當年晚些時候，與製片人克里斯·魏茲著手開發改編自這段人生經歷的短片[9][16]。

王子逸與導演巴里·傑金斯相戀[25]。到2019年，她定居於洛杉磯[1]。
