林僧蘭屬（學名：Adenochilus），通常被稱為侏儒蘭（gnome orchid）[3]，是蘭科的一個屬，共有兩個物種，一種是紐西蘭特有的，另一種是澳大利亞特有的。這兩個物種都有一個長的、水平的、地下根莖，花莖上有一片葉子，還有一朵倒置（resupinate）的花，它的背萼片在唇瓣和花柱上形成一個罩子。
描述
林僧蘭屬的是陸生、多年生、落葉、合軸分枝的草本植物，具有細長、水平的地下根莖和長在莖上或附著在花莖上的單葉。當存在時，在花莖的末端有一朵倒置的花。背萼片是游離的並在唇瓣和圓柱上形成一個罩子。側萼片和花瓣相互獨立，比背萼片長且窄，並且分開很遠。唇瓣也是游離的，通過短柄或「爪」附著在柱子的底部。唇瓣是彎曲的，中央有一條狹窄的黃色愈傷組織帶。[3][4][5][6]
分類
在1853年，約瑟夫·道爾頓·胡克首次正式描述了林僧蘭屬，該描述發表在《紐西蘭植物》（Flora Novae-Zelandiae）上。[2][7]胡克在同一出版物中描述了林僧蘭（A. gracilis），使其成為本屬的模式種。[1]Adenochilus這個名字來源於古希臘語單詞aden，意思是「腺體」[8]:69和cheilos，意思是「唇瓣」，[8]:200指的是這兩個物種的唇瓣愈傷組織。[6]
分布和棲息地
- 澳洲林僧蘭（Adenochilus nortonii）在新南威爾斯州有限分布，生長在海拔400－1,000米的藍山、巴靈頓山頂（Barrington tops）和觀景台（Point Lookout）地區，常生長在Nothofagus moorei（英語俗稱南極南青岡）下。[3][11]
