蛾螺總科（學名：Buccinoidea），亦作蛾螺超科^[3]，是新腹足目之下一個總科。本總科物種在尺寸方面的差異很大，但皆為捕食性海螺。

根據2005年的《布歇特和洛克羅伊的腹足類分類》^[4]，峨螺總科是新腹足類分支之下的一個總科；而新腹足類分支則取代了過去旁得和林德伯格的腹足類分類 (1997年)的新腹足下目。

型態描述

本總科物種的主要特點是貝殼堅固，殼上通常具發達的螺肋^[3]^[5]。在軟體部的解剖特徵上差異很小^[3]^[6]。如同其他新腹足目物種，齒舌作梁舌型，呈銼（英語：rasp）狀^[3]^[5]^[7]。齒式都很近似，^[3]^[5]，每排只有三枚舌齒^[7]。

多樣性

本總科絕大多數物種皆為海螺，但有8至10個物種已適應在淡水環境生活，成為了淡水螺。
