美国地球物理联盟（英语：American Geophysical Union，缩写：AGU）是地球物理学的非营利组织，会员超过50,000人，并来自135国。AGU的活动着重在组织和传递国际地球物理学跨学科的资讯。地球物理学包含四大领域：大气和海洋科学、固体地球科学、水文学和太空科学。
历史
AGU是由美国国家科学研究委员会成立于1919年，并作为美国国家科学院的非法人组织运作超过50年。1972年AGU将总部设在华盛顿特区；并将会员资格开放给美国以外世界各地的科学家和学生参与[11]。
任务
AGU的任务如下：
- 提升地球和太空环境的科学研究，并将结果告知大众。
- 增进地球物理学和相关学科组织之间的合作。
- 发起和参与地球科学研究计划
- 借着科学会议、出版和传递讯息增进地球物理学各学科发展。
出版
AGU出版多个科学刊物，包含周刊Eos和18个同行评审期刊。其中最有名的是《地球物理研究期刊》和《地球物理研究通讯》[12]。大多数期刊都有高影响因子；2010年时《古海洋学期刊》在古生物学方面的影响因子最高，而《地球物理评论》在地球化学和地球物理方面的影响因子是第二高[13]。
组织和研究群
AGU被分成十一个部门，并提供志愿管理者、以及发展和尊重科学家领导的架构。这些部门也反映了地球科学相关分支学科[14]：
