现任美国总统乔·拜登，他于2009年至2017年担任副总统，之前在1973年至2009年担任美国参议院议员。作为民主党成员，他在2008年成为总统选举中巴拉克·奥巴马的竞选搭档并当选为副总统，他在2012年成功连任。2019年4月，拜登宣布参加2020年总统竞选[1]，最终在2020年11月的选举中击败了共和党时任总统唐纳德·特朗普。[2]
