Androglossini是鹦鹉目金刚鹦鹉科下的一个族。[1]该名称由瑞典动物学家卡尔·雅各布·松德瓦尔以Androglossus属建立，虽然该名称现今被视作为亚马逊鹦鹉属之异名，但本族名因为较常用而被保留下来并使用至今。[2][1][3]Androglossus的命名者视不同资料标注了不同人，一些资料认为是松德瓦尔所建，而另一些则标示为爱尔兰动物学家尼古拉斯·艾尔沃德·维格于1825年建立。[3][4]其模式属即为亚马逊鹦鹉属，目前下属10属64种。[5][3]
本族的鸟类多为雌雄性别难以自外观区分的中小型鹦鹉，头顶颜色多样。[3]
