黄大仙公共图书馆（英语：Wong Tai Sin Public Library）是香港一间已关闭的小型图书馆，为黄大仙区首间公共图书馆。馆址位于九龙黄大仙下邨第30座51-55号地下，于1984年2月27日启用，由香港市政局负责管理。随着黄大仙下邨重建，图书馆于1989年1月28日起停用，由龙兴公共图书馆取代。

历史

设馆过程

1973年，香港市政局制定设立新图书馆标准，每200,000人便兴建一间面积约12,000-15,000平方呎的图书馆，并计划在港九各区设有一间公共图书馆[1]。当时局方预计黄大仙区人口将持续增长，加上观塘区的坪石公共图书馆未能满足两区人口所需，故此局方建议在黄大仙区增设一间公共图书馆[2]。

局方曾经考虑两处拟建的综合大楼作为馆址，分别位于大成街和双凤街，但在当时两项工程未能落实而作罢。1975年4月，局方建议租用位于黄大仙飞凤街的长春大厦作新馆选址[3]，但遭到图书馆专责委员会否决[4]。1976年4月，局方提出短期方案，建议在黄大仙区设立一座约4,000平方呎的小型分区图书馆，预计于1977/78年度启用，可是最终没有实行[5]。

直至1983年3月，市政局因区内对图书馆要求殷切，加上位于牛池湾及新蒲岗的图书馆未能短期内启用，所以重新考虑在黄大仙区设立小型图书馆[6]。同年5月，房屋署向局方建议，在黄大仙下邨第30座56-62号及73-77号地下设立图书馆[7]。但老人中心直至10月仍租用上址，结果局方要求房屋署另觅选址[8]。

随后房屋署提议位于同座51-55号及78-82号地下作为新选址，1983年12月获市政局同意设馆，并交由建筑拓展署负责设计[9]。最终于1984年2月27日，黄大仙公共图书馆正式启用，成为当时区内首间公共图书馆，亦是第八间市政局小型图书馆。开幕典礼由时任图书馆专责委员会主席叶锡恩主持[10]。

迁馆计划

1984年9月，房屋署向市政局提出，预留黄大仙下邨重建第四期龙兴楼地下，作重置现有图书馆之用[11]。局方考虑到维持黄大仙区图书馆服务，以及区内物色地方作图书馆之困难，故此同意迁馆计划[12]。新图书馆以龙兴楼命名，以便居民辨识图书馆所在位置[13]。

过渡期间房屋署以特惠租金（每月1,680港元）出租予市政局至新馆启用为止[14]。最终于1989年1月28日，龙兴公共图书馆正式启用，黄大仙公共图书馆予以取代[15]。

设施及服务

图书馆面积只有112平方米，属于市政局小型图书馆规模[16]。开馆时共有18,000本藏书，提供成人及儿童图书借阅服务[17]。服务对象主要是黄大仙居民，直至1987年6月，平均每日借出约570本图书[16]。

开放时间

图书馆自启用以来，开放时间为每星期39小时，逢星期一休馆。1985年3月，市政局建议更改开放时间，包括统一休馆日、更改午休时间、延长平日开放时间及缩短周末开放时间。最终方案获得通过，并于同年7月1日起生效[18]。
