Netflix and chill
「Netflix and chill」是一個互聯網用語，用作性行為的委婉說法，既可以理解為情侶性愛，也可以是床伴約砲或一夜情。2009年首次出現在Twitter上，但當時的意思並不是性暗示。該短語在Twitter、Facebook和Vine等社交網站上越來越受歡迎。[1]2015年，「Netflix and chill」已經成為網絡流行語，在Fusion TV上通常被描述為「性行為」。[2]

「Netflix and chill」這個短語首次出現在2009年1月21日「NoFaceNina」發佈的一條推文中：[1][2]

chill在俗語中是放鬆的意思，這裏是指打發時間。故這個短語早期並非表示性暗示，只是指觀賞Netflix打發時間的行為，且通常是自己一個人觀賞。[4]2013年，Netflix在美國的受歡迎程度大幅上升，已經有數百萬的付費用戶，越來越多人把Netflix這個名詞當作動詞使用，並將該短語獨立使用。

隨着該短語越來越常用，與該短語相關的活動、產品和服務開始出現。[6]
在兩所不同的大學，有學生策劃了「Netflix and chill」活動，其中一個因有太多人參加被當局取消了。[7]在紐約的Maker Faire，Netflix發佈了一個大按鈕原型，名為「The Switch」，當它被按下時，將調暗用戶所在環境的燈光，啟用手機的「請勿打擾」功能，並準備開始播放Netflix，為即將開始的活動消除障礙。這經常被稱為「Netflix and chill按鈕」。[8]
2015年10月，企業家科里·威廉姆斯（Kori Williams）創立了名為「Netflix and chill」的避孕套，並被美國食品藥品監督管理局（FDA）批准用於預防懷孕和通過性傳染病。[9][10][11]

2016年1月，藝術家湯姆·加勒（Tom Galle）和ART404公司在紐約市創立了一個「Netflix & Chill Room」，並在Airbnb上出租。[14]
