阿里爾·卡斯特羅綁架案，又稱克利夫蘭綁架案，是一組發生在美國俄亥俄州克利夫蘭市特拉蒙特區的性奴綁架案件。本案件在2013年5月6日被發現並偵破。

案件先後發生在2002年到2004年間，共有三名女子先後被綁架並淪為性奴，其中，阿曼達·貝利還為罪犯生下了一個女孩。三名女子被罪犯阿里爾·卡斯特羅監禁在罪犯自己的家中，直到2013年5月6日才趁機在鄰居的幫助下逃出。[1][2][3][4]

罪犯阿里爾·卡斯特羅最終因為四起非法拘禁和三起強姦罪名被判處超過1000年的有期徒刑，不得假釋。[5][6][7][8]審判下達一個月後，阿里爾·卡斯特羅在監獄裏上吊自殺。[9][10]

阿里爾·卡斯特羅是一名波多黎各籍移民，他的父母在他幼年時期離了婚，隨後他的母親帶他來到美國本土，最終在克利夫蘭定居。[11][12][13][14]

卡斯特羅與前妻格瑞米爾達·費覺羅婭曾育有孩子，[15][16]據費覺羅婭的家人說，卡斯特羅有過家暴史。費覺羅婭的姊妹艾麗達·卡拉巴洛及艾麗卡的丈夫弗蘭克稱費覺羅婭正是因為卡斯特羅的家暴才導致其身上有過包括鼻子、肋骨、手臂在內的多處骨折，並患上了腦血栓，進一步滋生腦瘤。[17]

費覺羅婭後來離開了卡斯特羅並獲得了孩子的撫養權，在此之後卡斯特羅仍持續長期騷擾過費覺羅婭。2012年，費覺羅婭最終死於腦瘤。[16]

卡斯特羅曾是一名當地校車司機，然而教方最終解僱了他，稱其「管控能力不足」，指出他曾經有在校車上仍有孩子的情況下非法掉頭、佔據校車為私用、把孩子丟在校車上自己去吃午飯等行為。[18][19][20]

卡斯特羅通過假稱願意讓受害人搭車，隨後引誘她們進入自己的房子的方式誘拐了受害人。[21][22][23]

據卡斯特羅的鄰居查爾斯稱，卡斯特羅是一個非常普通、正常的人，絲毫不會讓人聯想到他會犯下這種罪行。查爾斯說：「我在這裏已經住了一年。我和他一起燒烤，吃肋排什麼的，還一起聽薩爾薩音樂。完全不知道裏面會藏着這些姑娘。他是那種讓你看一眼就會忘了的人，因為他看上去很正常。」[24][25]

米歇爾案

米歇爾·奈特（1981年4月23日- ）失蹤於2002年8月23日，時年21。[26]她最後出現於一個堂表親的家中，失蹤當天她本應出現在有關於她的兒子的撫養權的法庭上。[27][28]因為她是成年人，警方不被准許投入過多的警力來調查這起失蹤案，有關部門甚至認為她是因為就自己失去了對孩子的撫養權的事情感到生氣而故意失蹤。因此，在失蹤十五個月以後，她的失蹤案被FBI從全國案件數據庫中移除。[29]

阿曼達案

阿曼達·瑪麗·貝利（1986年4月22日- ）失蹤於2003年4月21日，這是她17歲生日的前一天。[30]她最後出現於她打工的漢堡王門店，並在當天下午八點的時候給她的家人打了個電話，稱她正在搭順風車回家，這是她失蹤前最後一次與外界的聯繫。[31]警方一度認為她是故意失蹤（離家出走），直到一周後一名不明男子用她的手機給其母親打電話稱：「阿曼達在我手上，她狀態良好並會在幾天以內回家。」[32][33]

與前一案（米歇爾案）不同，本案獲得了社會的廣泛關注，並被與後一案（吉娜案）關聯起來。[34][35]

2006年12月25日，貝利誕下一名女嬰，後經DNA鑑定確認其確係卡斯特羅的女兒。[36][37][38]據解救幾人的鄰居查爾斯·拉姆齊稱，這名女孩是四人中唯一一個有一定意義上的行動自由的，因為在與卡斯特羅的交往中，沒有任何跡象表明他家有三個女人，但是卻可以看到這名女孩的存在。[24]

吉娜案

喬治婭·「吉娜」·林恩·德赫蘇斯（1990年2月13日- ）失蹤時14歲。[39]最後被看到的地點是在放學回家的路上的一間電話亭，時間是2004年4月2日下午3點左右。當時罪犯卡斯特羅與其前妻費覺羅婭的女兒阿琳向其母親提出請求想要在德赫蘇斯家過夜，費覺羅婭拒絕了阿琳的請求，因而阿琳和吉娜兩人分開了。[40] 阿琳是最後一個看見她的人。[41]

在她失蹤一年後，警方對嫌犯進行了側寫，推測嫌犯是「拉丁裔，25歲至35歲，身高5英尺10英寸（1.78米）, 165至185英磅（75至84公斤），綠瞳，山羊鬍，可能還有細鬍鬚。[42]根據法庭記錄，卡斯特羅的真實身高為5英尺7英寸（1.70米），179英磅（81公斤），棕瞳，山羊鬍。[43][44]

德赫蘇斯的家人試圖發起過公眾巡邏活動，以試圖找到她，卡斯特羅本人至少參加過兩次巡邏活動。[45][46]

德赫蘇斯因為卡斯特羅是自己朋友的父親而信任了卡斯特羅，坐上卡斯特羅的車，最終被拘禁起來。據卡斯特羅的叔叔表示，卡斯特羅家和德赫蘇斯家關係很好，而卡斯特羅對此表示在綁架時並不知道小女孩是德赫蘇斯家族的成員。[18][47]

囚禁

米歇爾·奈特被拘禁的頭三天，她被捆綁起來，並且不被允許進食。她們一天只能吃一頓飯，一周只能洗兩次澡，只能使用不定期清潔的塑料廁具。[48][21]

奈特告訴警察說卡斯特羅至少讓她懷孕五次，每一次都通過暴力毆打的手段讓她流產。[23][49]而奈特的祖母稱，卡斯特羅的毆打使奈特的臉部嚴重變形，需要專業的整容手術才能恢復，並且奈特還損失了一隻耳朵的聽力。[50]吉娜·德赫蘇斯則不認為她懷過孕。[49]

在2006年聖誕節，卡斯特羅強迫奈特給阿曼達·貝利接生，並威脅奈特，如果沒讓孩子活下來就要殺死奈特。[51][52]

孩子生下來以後，卡斯特羅偶爾會把孩子帶出去，有時會帶去拜訪自己的母親，讓女孩叫自己「爸爸」，叫他母親「祖母」。[53][54]2013年，他還將女孩的一張照片寄給了自己的另一個女兒（與費覺羅婭所生），並稱這是他與「另一個女友」所生。[51][55]

獲救

2013年5月6日，當卡斯特羅離開家門後，阿曼達·貝利發現他沒有鎖上「大內門」，當然外面的紗窗門是鎖好的。[56][57][58][59]她不敢嘗試破開門鎖，因為她不確定卡斯特羅是否「在測試她」——卡斯特羅曾經有過故意不鎖門的先例，如果誰敢逃跑，他就會狠狠地毆打她。不過貝利能看見鄰居，因此她選擇大聲呼救。[56][60][61][62]

鄰居查爾斯·拉姆齊聽到了呼救聲，並前來幫助貝利。他發現無法打開擋風門，因此將紗窗門下面直接踢壞，踢出一個洞使貝利和她的女兒能爬出來。拉姆齊說貝利告訴他她和她的女兒都被非法拘禁了，因此現在想要向911求助。[63]拉姆齊這時發現自己的手機放在家裏，因此他把她帶到自己家中，取到手機，最初他想讓貝利自己撥打電話，然而貝利不會使用智能手機（她被拘禁了10年），因此他代替貝利呼叫了電話。[3][64]

警方到達現場後，貝利告訴警方「還有兩個人在裏面」，於是警方入內解救了米歇爾·奈特和吉娜·德赫蘇斯。四人被送往救護中心，貝利和德赫蘇斯在第二天出院，而奈特則在四天後（5月10日）才出院。[65][66][67]

判決

卡斯特羅於2013年5月6日，即阿曼達·貝利出逃同一日被逮捕，當時他正在當地麥當勞門店與他的兩個兄弟談話。他的兩個兄弟也被帶走調查，後於9日證明他們沒有參與本案而被釋放。[5][68]8日，卡斯特羅被檢方正式起訴。[5][69]

檢方初期起訴4項監禁罪和3項強姦罪，總共加起來有10年的有期徒刑，於9日首次開庭。[70]5月14日，卡斯特羅的律師稱會進行無罪辯護。[71][72][73]

6月7日，進一步的指控傳票被交到卡斯特羅手中，這回總共有329項罪名，包括兩項嚴重謀殺罪，是指他給被害人施加的流產手段有謀殺性。據稱，以上指控僅包括他在2002年8月至2007年2月的罪行，檢察官表示進一步的罪行指控還在調查中，並稱會考慮起訴死刑。[74][75]

6月12日，2007年2月以後的訴訟被正式遞交，截至此時，總共有997項罪名，包括512項拘禁；446項強姦；7項一般性侵犯；6項暴力傷害；3項虐待兒童；2項嚴重謀殺以及1項犯罪工具持有罪。[76]7月17日，卡斯特羅在法庭上對新的罪名繼續做無罪辯護。[77]

7月26日，卡斯特羅就977項指控中的937項認罪，作為認罪協商的一部分，他被判處超過1,000年的有期徒刑，不得假釋，並且放棄了上訴權。[7]同時他還放棄了自己的財產（據稱，卡斯特羅早已認定自己的罪行一定會被發現，並且警方找到了他留下的一張遺書，表示他的財產將如數給予被他綁架的女性[78][79]），包括房屋，檢察官表示會將其拆毀。[80]卡斯特羅表示自己會犯下這些案件是因為自己「冷血」且「性成癮」。[80]

最終的判決於8月1日下達，如之前所預料，卡斯特羅被判處超過1,000年有期徒刑，不得保釋，並且被罰款十萬美金。法院沒收了他的全部財產並交給當地的凱霍加縣政府。[81]正式宣判之前，卡斯特羅做了將近20分鐘的陳詞，說自己是「一個好人」，「不是一個怪物」，只是擁有性成癮，並「自年幼就開始自慰，探尋到了其間的真諦」。他聲稱他從來沒有毆打或折磨過受害者，並認為「絕大多數的」與她們的關係性經歷是出自「共同意願」。他就FBI未能及時抓到他的事情時而致歉時而埋怨FBI，並且也指責受害者不應該隨便搭乘陌生人的便車，他還堅稱幾位受害者在與他首次性交時均已不是處女。有時他又變回道歉腔調，說：「我希望她們能看在我們共同相處的時候有不少歡愉的份上發自內心地原諒我。」[47]

房屋拆除

2014年6月原房屋遺址

根據認罪協議，卡斯特羅原來的房子被於2013年8月7日拆毀。拆除過程中，米歇爾·奈特手持黃色氣球來到現場以紀念所有失蹤兒童。氣球被釋放升空後，吉娜·德赫蘇斯的姑姑親自使用設備拆毀了房屋。[82][83][84]隨後亦被在谷歌地圖街景上完全抹去。[85][86]

卡斯特羅之死

2013年9月3日傍晚，即被判處終生監禁一個月後，卡斯特羅在俄亥俄州奧萊恩特村（英語：Orient, Ohio）的矯正中心（英語：Correctional Reception Center）被發現使用被單在監獄宿舍內自縊，時年53歲。[87]獄警對他搶救後將其送入醫院，不久後被正式宣佈死亡。[87][88][89]

案件細節

  • 卡斯特羅家與德赫蘇斯家是朋友，而吉娜·德赫蘇斯與卡斯特羅的女兒阿琳也是好友，案發當天尚有想要合宿的想法，但是被卡斯特羅前妻、阿琳母親格瑞米爾達·費覺羅婭拒絕了，兩人因此在放學路上分手，導致悲劇發生。卡斯特羅表示，在案發時，不知道吉娜是德赫蘇斯家的人。[18][47]
  • 卡斯特羅參與過德赫蘇斯家人發起的巡邏隊，並且至少參與過兩次搜救巡邏。[45][46]
  • 卡斯特羅的兒子安東尼在2004年作為實習記者報道過德赫蘇斯失蹤案，並且署名時使用了他父親的名稱。[90][91][92]
  • 據安東尼回憶稱，在阿曼達·貝利出逃三周前，卡斯特羅曾經問過安東尼他覺得貝利還能不能被找到，安東尼當時說貝利大概已經死了，而卡斯特羅回應道：「真的？你是這麼覺得的？」[93]
  • 鄰居查爾斯·拉姆齊堅持強調稱卡斯特羅是一個極其普通的人，無法看出他居然會犯下這種罪行。[24]
  • 拉姆齊同時還表示自己見過卡斯特羅與阿曼達·貝利的女兒，但是他誤以為那是卡斯特羅的孫女，並且在阿曼達·貝利出逃時，小女孩喊着要爸爸。[24]

英雄鄰居

住在卡斯特羅家旁邊的查爾斯·拉姆齊因為幫助阿曼達·貝利出逃而被國民視為英雄，各界名人紛紛打電話向他致敬，而他由於過於疲憊只能選擇性接聽了時任美國總統貝拉克·奧巴馬的內閣事務秘書（英語：White House Cabinet Secretary）丹尼爾·C·格瑞（英語：Danielle C. Gray）和歌手史努比狗狗的電話。此外，他還被多家知名電視台邀請採訪，甚至被邀請去了紐約市。他家也一度被各類人士盯上，寄來信件堆積如山，以至於他不得不去別人家暫住。不僅他的採訪影片在YouTube點擊過萬，根據他的採訪視頻通過調音的方式製作而成的歌曲「Dead Giveaway!」亦點擊量過萬，他因坦然的調侃自己的種族遇到的不公待遇——「如果一個白人女性跑來向黑人求助那絕對是她被逼到無路可走了」而給人尤為留下深刻印象。[25]而在此之前他不過是一個當地餐館的小工，還因頂撞上司被停職兩周，正在為自己無力支付當月房租而發愁。[24]

事情發生後，當地的一家漢堡店以他的名字推出了套餐，並且聯合當地十餘家餐館授予他終生免費食用漢堡的特權。[94]

受害者的餘生

判決後，米歇爾·奈特當庭對卡斯特羅說：「你從我的生命中奪去了11年。整整十一年的時間我都待在地獄裏，而如今你的地獄開始了。我會從頭開始，跨過過去的折磨，而你自此將永臨地獄中。此後每一天，我們都可以回憶起十一年來你在我身上犯下的罪行，我可以原諒你，但是我永遠不會原諒你。」[81]

2013年7月9日，三名受害者一起發佈了一段影片，以感謝社會上的支持。視頻發佈前，一個相關的基金會已經為幾人募集到了105萬美元。[95]

據一名為阿曼達·貝利和吉娜·德赫蘇斯服務的律師表示，她們兩人「仍強烈的想保有私隱」，因此沒做好向媒體披露更多自己被困時收到的暴力的細節。[95][96]奈特則在獲得自由一年後接受了雜誌的專訪，披露了一定的細節。她獲救後，已經通過法律途徑將自己的名字改成了莉莉·羅斯·李[註 1][97]，並且還紋了許多遮傷紋身。她告訴公眾她的兒子[註 2]在她被囚禁期間已被養父母收養，她打算去探望兒子，但又不想給他太大的驚嚇，因此打算等到他成年後再去告知他真相。她還計劃想要開一家飯店並能夠結婚（最後她在2015年5月結了婚）。[98]由於被拘禁期間遭受的虐待導致她不大有可能再生孩子，因此她還打算領養孩子。她甚至希望在日後能與貝利和德赫蘇斯重新團聚，不過眼前還是打算先專注於自己的生活。[99]

2015年5月27日，貝利與德赫蘇斯一同被約翰·馬紹爾中學授予榮譽學位。[100]

2018年3月，德赫蘇斯開始為安珀警報提供志願者服務，照料被解救的俄州東北部被虐待兒童，並且仍與奈特一家保持聯絡。[101]

2017年2月6日，貝利加入當地的WJW電視節目（英語：WJW (TV)），負責播報俄州東北部失蹤人口的反覆插播片段。[102]2019年4月25日，貝利與解救他的查爾斯·拉姆齊重聚，並接受了一場由福克斯8號台（英語：Fox8）播放的採訪。[103][104]
