哈立德·阿薩德（阿拉伯語：خالد الأسعد；1932年1月1日—2015年8月18日[1]）是敘利亞的一位考古學家。
生平
哈立德出生在敘利亞的塔德莫（又稱巴爾米拉新城），在那裏度過了他大部分的人生[2]。曾在大馬士革大學學習，並獲得歷史學文憑[3]。1954年加入敘利亞的阿拉伯復興社會黨[3]，並且是阿薩德政權的堅定支持者。[4]
哈立德在1963年被任命為塔德莫文物研究主任以及塔德莫博物館館長[5]，自此他花費了40年時間來發掘和重建巴爾米拉古城遺址[6][7]，並以發掘該遺址而在世界上知名。此遺址後來被聯合國教科文組織認定為世界遺產[3]。他曾帶領過美國、波蘭、德國、法國和瑞士的考古隊，並能夠熟練地使用亞拉姆語，直到2011年為止他還經常翻譯亞拉姆語的文獻。
2015年5月，塔德莫被極端組織「伊斯蘭國」攻陷，哈立德協助轉移了城中博物館裏的文物[3]，以避免落入「伊斯蘭國」手中。「伊斯蘭國」企圖從哈立德口中知道這些文物的下落，但被拒絕了。8月12日，哈立德被「伊斯蘭國」當作「叛教者」斬首處死[7]，理由是他保護巴爾米拉遺址的偶像崇拜文物。根據「伊斯蘭國」支持者發佈的哈立德屍體照片顯示，哈立德的屍體被綁在塔德莫街上的一個紅綠燈上示眾，他的頭被放在屍體的腳下。隨後，又被轉移到巴爾米拉遺址上示眾。[8][9][10][11][6]
敘利亞文物部門、聯合國教科文組織以及其他一些學者紛紛對「伊斯蘭國」的行為表示強烈譴責。[11][12][13][14][15]
