盧旺達國家銀行（盧旺達語：Banki Nkuru Y'u Rwanda，法語：Banque Nationale du Rwanda）是盧旺達的中央銀行。成立於1964年。[2] 現任行長是John Rwangombwa。[3]
地理位置
盧旺達國家銀行總部位於KN6大街的盧旺達國家銀行大廈，坐落在盧旺達首都和最大城市吉佳利的中心商務區。[4]銀行總部坐標為緯度-1.948889°，經度30.063611°（01°56′56″S 30°03′49″E / 1.94889°S 30.06361°E）。[5]
歷史沿革
盧旺達國家銀行, 簡稱「BNR」，是一步一步發展起來的：[2]
- 1887年7月27日的皇家法令將法郎列為剛果獨立國的貨幣，剛果自由邦、盧旺達隸屬於剛果獨立國。
- 1890年的「Heligoland協定」將盧旺達和布隆迪限定於德國在非洲的影響範圍之內;德國東非盧比是其官方貨幣;法國法郎的流通仍然持續。
- 1908年，比屬剛果成為拉丁貨幣同盟的成員。
- 1909年，比屬剛果（金）銀行成立。
- 1912年，比屬剛果民主共和國銀行發行了第一張鈔票。
- 1927年，德國一戰戰敗，盧旺達和布隆迪隸屬於剛果法郎區域。
- 1927年至1952年間，比屬剛果殖民地和比屬剛果銀行建交。
- 二戰時期：臨時參與英格蘭銀行，剛果法郎在倫敦上市。
- 1952 - 1960年，隸屬於比屬剛果和盧旺達 - 烏倫比中央銀行（BCCBRU）。
- 1960 - 1964年，隸屬於盧旺達布隆迪發展銀行（BERB）/（發行盧旺達和布隆迪銀行）。
- 1964年，布隆迪皇家銀行（BRB）和盧旺達國家銀行（BNR）成立。
