十七年蟬（Magicicada septendecim） 是原產於加拿大和美國的周期蟬，也是最大、生存地點最北面的周期蟬，生命周期為17年。 [2]十七年蟬有紅色的眼睛和翅脈，腹部有寬大的橙色條紋[3]。
生命周期
從卵子到成蟲自然死亡的中位生命周期約為17年。然而，它們的生命周期可能在13年到21年之間。
