RNA聚合酶V
RNA聚合酶V(英語:RNA polymerase V)是一種植物細胞核中特有的RNA聚合酶,和RNA聚合酶IV一樣參與小干擾RNA(siRNA)的轉錄。RNA聚合酶V轉錄siRNA誘導DNA甲基化而導致異染色質沉默。[1]
RNA聚合酶V由12個亞基組成,與RNA聚合酶Ⅱ亞基旁系同源。兩個最大的亞基(催化位置)是最保守的,與真核生物和細菌的聚合酶都有很高的相似性。[2]
