歷史

該雜誌成立於1959年，當時名為Record Retailer，1972年3月18日更名為《Music Week》。^[4]1981年1月17日，由於銷售視像的重要性日益增加，雜誌名稱再次更改為《Music & Video Week》。其競爭對手Record Business（英語：Record Business）由布賴恩·馬利根（Brian Mulligan）和諾曼·加羅德（Norman Garrod）於1978年創立，於1983年2月被《Music Week》收購。同年晚些時候，衍生雜誌《Video Week》創刊，母刊名稱恢復為《Music Week》。^[3]

出版詳情

《Music Week》由未來出版社每月出版（2021年3月起），儘管之前它是一本周刊（每年50期）。^[5]它有B4大小的印刷雜誌和PDF數碼版。ISSN 0265-1548
