Matomo^[2]，原名Piwik（發音為/ˈpiːwiːk/），是一個自由、開源的網站分析應用程式，由一個國際開發團隊開發，運行在PHP/MySQL網絡伺服器上。它跟蹤一個或多個網站的在線訪問量，並顯示這些訪問量的報告以供分析。截至2018年6月 (2018-06)^[update]，Matomo已被超過145.5萬個網站使用，^[3]佔所有已知流量分析工具網站的1.3%，^[4]並被翻譯成54種語言。^[5]新版本定期發佈。^[6]

歷史

Piwik在2007年底發佈，作為phpMyVisites的替代品，它具有完整的API支持，更簡潔的用戶界面，現代圖形，更好的架構和更好的性能。

2008年11月21日，SourceForge宣佈Piwik作為一個託管應用程式提供給開發者。^[7]^[8]

Piwik被選為SourceForge 2009年7月的月度最佳項目。^[9]

2009年8月，Piwik在《信息世界（英語：InfoWorld）》（InfoWorld）的2009年Bossie獎中被評為最佳開源企業之一。^[10]

2012年12月，Piwik開始為要求的新功能進行眾籌。^[11]

2013年9月，Matthieu Aubry和Clearcode的CEO Maciej Zawadziński成立了Piwik PRO。它為開放原始碼的Piwik提供支持和功能。2016年6月，Clearcode收購了Matthieu Aubry，成為Piwik PRO的唯一所有者。^[12]

2018年1月，Piwik正式改名為Matomo。^[13]

2019年底，^[14]Matomo發佈了一個名為Matomo Analytics的WordPress插件，允許WordPress用戶在其WordPress安裝中直接託管開源分析平台。
