犯罪頭目是犯罪組織的領導人。犯罪頭目對組織內其他成員擁有絕對或近乎絕對的控制權，且常常因狡猾、多謀、冷酷無情而受到人們的畏懼或尊重，甚至願意通過殺人來施加影響力^[1]^[2]。
