Allbirds, Inc.是一家美國鞋子和服飾公司。[1]Allbirds 推出的第一雙鞋是Wool Runner，它由新西蘭超細美利奴羊羊毛製成。[2]該公司聲稱專門生產環境友好型產品，而且公司還獲得了B Corp認證。[3][4]Allbirds直接通過該公司的網站和零售店將產品賣給消費者。 [5]
歷史
Allbirds的聯合創始人提姆·布朗曾經是一位新西蘭國家足球隊副隊長，在他當副隊長時他就打算創辦一家公司。[6]他曾在商學院讀過書，而且還為朋友們做過皮鞋。[2]2014年，他在得到新西蘭羊毛行業企業的資助下，成功設計出一款運動鞋。然後他在Kickstarter上發起眾籌，五天內就籌集了119,000 美元。[7][1]運動鞋在Kickstarter上成功發布後，提姆·布朗又與生物技術工程師和可再生資源專家喬伊·茨維林格（Joey Zwillinger）展開合作。[7]2016年3月，他們正式創辦Allbirds。[8][7] Allbirds這個名字的含義是「百鳥之國」 ，因為新西蘭本土幾乎沒有除了人以外的哺乳動物。[9]
Allbirds很快從Maveron、Lerer Hippeau Ventures和其他公司那裡籌集了725萬美元。[10][3]2017年12月，Allbirds起訴Steve Madden ，Allbirds指控該公司推出的Traveler鞋涉嫌抄襲Allbirds的Wool Runners，而且兩款鞋看上去幾乎一模一樣。 [11]
