水手龍（學名：Uronautes）是蛇頸龍目彪龍科存疑的一個屬。已知化石包括幾節椎骨、部分肢骨及肋骨。[1]
詞源
屬名Uronautes取自希臘語單詞Ουρα（意為「有尾巴的」）及Ναυτεσ（意為「水手」）。[2]種名U. cetiformis取自希臘語單詞κῆτος（指鯨或大型海怪）及forma（意為「……的外形」）。[3]
分類
水手龍由美國古生物學家愛德華·德林克·科普於1076年首次描述。[4]由於化石稀少，塞繆爾·保羅·威爾斯於1956將該屬描述為疑名，並質疑這些遺骸是否能充當一個真正屬的證據。[5]
描述
像很多其它彪龍科（如彪龍）一樣，水手龍這種短頸蛇頸龍類。頸椎很短，具有半附着的突起及雙頭肋骨。[6]
分布
歸入水手龍的化石僅在少數地區發現，包括狐狸山的白堊紀沉積物、皮爾堡附近的類似沉積物及朱迪斯河，三者均位於蒙大拿州。[8][9]
