棕頭草雁（學名：Chloephaga rubidiceps），是雁形目鴨科的一種鳥類。[2]
特徵
棕頭草雁體重約2086克，翼長約325.6毫米，嘴峰長約30.5毫米，喙寬度約13毫米，喙厚度約11.2毫米，跗蹠長約56.2毫米，尾長約109.4毫米。棕頭草雁是部分遷徙的鳥類，其棲息在開放的草原環境中，食性為草食性，主要食物來源是陸生植物。[3]
分布
在福克蘭群島為留鳥；在巴塔哥尼亞和火地群島的最南端繁殖，冬季向北遷徙至阿根廷布宜諾斯艾利斯南部等地。[4]
