亞莫爾·托歐斯（Amor Towles；1964年—），美國小說家，著有《上流法則》(2011)、[2] 《莫斯科紳士》(2016)[3]，和《林肯公路》 (2021)。 [4]
略歷
托歐斯生長於馬薩諸塞州波士頓。畢業於耶魯大學，取得斯坦福大學英語碩士學位。隨後，在斯坦福大學擔任研究員。10歲時，托歐斯曾將裝有訊息的瓶子扔進大西洋。幾周後，收到了哈里森·索爾茲伯里的回信。索爾茲伯里 (Harrison Salisbury) 時任紐約時報總編輯。此後多年，托歐斯和索爾茲伯里一直保持通信。 [5]
耶魯大學畢業後，托歐斯獲得雅禮協會為期兩年的獎學金，準備在中國任教。然而，由於1989年的天安門事件，而取消。 [6]
1991年至2012年，托歐斯在紐約擔任投資經理和研究總監。[7][8]
托歐斯將其小說的主要靈感歸功於《巴黎評論》創辦人兼作家的彼得·馬西森[9]。 托歐斯的處女作《上流規則》取得了超出預期的成功，使他能提早從投資銀行業退休，開始全職寫作。 [10]
第二部小說《莫斯科紳士》連續59周登上紐約時報精裝暢銷書排行榜 [11]，入圍2016年科克斯書評獎[12]，及2018年國際都柏林文學獎。[13] 2022年末，《莫斯科紳士》宣布改編成伊萬·麥克格雷戈主演的電視劇[14][15]。
2021年10月5日，托歐斯出版第三部小說《林肯公路》[16]。《林肯公路》獲亞馬遜選為2021年最佳圖書[17]。
