Yellow Emperor calendar（Chinese: 黄帝纪元, 黄帝历 or 轩辕纪年）is a calendar era starting from Yellow Emperor's birth（Liu Shipei）or enthronement（eg Song Jiaoren, modern tau calendar）. It later became tau calendar used in tauism. It was once promoted near the end of Qing dynasty, but not widely adopted.
