南方巨恐鸟(Dinornis robustus)是恐鸟的一种，又称南岛巨型恐鸟。和其他恐鸟一样不会飞。这些鸟的起源可能是因为恐鸟的早期始祖能够飞行并飞到新西兰南岛。
南方巨恐鸟是恐鸟中最大的。成年雌鸟肩高高达2米，并且总高高达3.6米，使它们成为已知的最高的鸟类。它住在新西兰南岛的低地。可能早在13世纪就灭绝。
