在2017年9月21日，开发者发行了名为《手机疑云2：劳拉的故事》（英语：Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story）的续作，这次讲述无意捡到手机玩家对其主人的生活产生兴趣，于是通过破解密码、偷看短信等挖掘出手机拥有者的故事[2][3]。
《手机疑云》之后在2018年3月1日成功登陆任天堂Switch[4]。
