Canada E-Sports League

Canada E-sports League has been established in 2017. It is the largest League of Legends tournament for non-professionals in eastern Canada. This year, the most impressive eSports league in the history of Canada is being jointly organized by the Westin Prince Toronto Hotel, Invictus Game Station(IGS), and Pumpkin Seed Solutions. The first preliminary round of Canada E-Sports League will start on Sept.30th, 2017. The final championship will take place at Westin Prince Toronto Hotel Conference hall on Nov.19th, 2017.

Background

With the development of esports market, esports has gained wide popularity globally and the online game League of Legends has become one of the most involving and competitive game in the Greater Toronto area. The establishment of Canada E-Sports League, is not only going to turn out to be the most exciting tournament for non-professional players, but also provides an opportunity in scaling up non-professional E-sports tournaments to cater all E-Sports lovers and gamers Canada.

Schedule

This tournament is divided into three sections. There will be a knockout round, quarter-final & semi-finals, and the CEL 2017 Finals. The knockout round battle will start after the Press Conference, which is Oct.14th – Nov.2nd, 2017. The final championship will start on Nov.19th 2017 at Westin Prince Toronto Hotel.

Rules&Policy

The Knockout round will start on Oct.14th, 2017. All teams will be split up automatically by the system. All matches go for BO3 match mode. Teams who have successfully promoted, will get permission of next round. The round of 16 will be taken place on Nov.4th, 2017 at Invictus Game Station North York, the quarter-finals and semi-finals will be taken place on Nov.11th & Nov.12th, 2017 respectively, and will take place at Invictus Game Station downtown. Our CEL LOL Finals is going to held on Nov.19th, 2017 at Westin Prince Toronto Hotel. The final will be using BO5 mode, the winner team will become the CEL 2017 League of Legends tournament for non-professionals Championship.
