雅思考試的主要英文類型為英國英語，所以主考官大部分都是英國人，說美國英文難免會扣點分數。
this sentence is plain wrong, at least questionable. From the IELTS, all types of English (including US English) will be tested. And the statement that "Marks will be deducted if American English is used in the exam" is groundless. In fact, from the sample IELTS paper on www.ielts.org, both US/UK spelling are acceptable.
There is no authoritative evidence showing that most IELTS examinators are of UK origins. In fact, many of them are Australians, New Zealanders, Canadians, even Americans.
The "disputed" tag should not be removed until the problem in the essay is resolved.
