《S.M. THE BALLAD Vol. 2 – Breath》是韩国SM娱乐组合艺人组成的企划组合S.M.THE BALLAD的第二张迷你专辑。专辑于2014年2月13日发行，主打歌为同名歌曲《Breath》[1]。

发行背景

专辑中有两首歌曲以三种不同的语言分别录制，包括韩语、汉语和日语。其中《Breath》作为主打歌，韩语版由太妍和鐘鉉演唱，汉语版由Chen和張力尹录制，而日语版由最強昌珉和Krystal负责。另一首歌曲《Blind》的韩语版和日语版皆由藝聲在入伍前录制完成，而汉语版则有周覓录制[2]。这两首歌曲的韩语版也被用作成员最強昌珉主演电视剧《MiMi》的音乐原声带的一部分

由太妍和鐘鉉演唱的《Breath》的韩语版先于专辑发行日期于2014年2月10日公开，[3]之后在11日公开了Chen和鐘鉉演唱的《One Day》，在12日公开了太妍的solo曲《Set Me Free》。专辑于13日发行，而在百度音乐上则追加独占发行了一首由張力尹演唱的《Set Me Free》汉语版。

歌曲宣传

在专辑发售前的2月12日于首尔三城洞举行了《S.M. THE BALLAD Vol.2 Joint Recital Showcase》，除了艺声和最强昌珉以外的成员出席并演唱了部分专辑曲目[4]。由太妍和钟铉演唱的《Breath》在2月13日直播的《M! Countdown》初次于电视公开。Chen和张力尹则在14日直播的湖南卫视《元宵晚会》上演唱了汉语版的《Breath》[5]。歌曲之后也在《Music Bank》、《Show! 音樂中心》、《人气歌谣》等节目中公开了舞台。
