雅各·路易斯·梅伊（英語：Jacob Louis Mey，1926年10月30日—2023年2月10日）是一位出生於荷蘭的丹麥語言學教授，專攻語用學。1996年退休後，他擔任南丹麥大學語言與傳播學院榮譽教授。[1][2]
生平
梅伊於1960年在Louis Hjelmslev的指導下獲得哥本哈根大學語言學博士學位。[3]他也曾在奧斯陸大學、德州大學奧斯汀分校、喬治城大學、耶魯大學、筑波大學、東京國語研究所、西北大學、香港城市大學、法蘭克福大學、坎皮納斯州立大學、海法大學、以色列理工學院、南頓大學和厄勒布魯大學等機構工作。[2]
直到2010年，他一直擔任《語用學雜誌》的主編，該雜誌是他與哈特穆特·哈伯蘭於1977年創辦的。[4]他曾任國際語言與傳播雜誌RASK的主編，[5]以及Pragmatics & Society的編輯之一。[6]
個人生活
梅伊與卡里·洛特的第一次婚姻育有一個女兒。1965年，他與Inger Mey結婚；他們有五個孩子。[2]
梅伊於2023年2月10日在德克薩斯州奧斯汀去世，享年96歲。[9]
