長尾弄蝶（學名：Urbanus proteus，英名俗名：Long-tailed Skipper），是屬於弄蝶科的一種蝴蝶，是長尾弄蝶屬的一種，也是其模式種^[1]。廣泛分佈於新北界及新熱帶界，北至美國東岸康涅狄格州，經德薩斯州，南至阿根廷。生境為耕地和濕地。幼蟲的寄主為豆科（如：菜豆屬）、十字花科及美人蕉科植物^[2]^[3]。

成蟲翅膀和體軀背面具有的綠色光澤，展翅寬4-5厘米。飛翔時飄忽不定。幼蟲橄攬綠色，飾有褐色條紋和黃、黑斑點。頭部褐色，具二黃點^[2]。
