Temple Itsukushima is a famous "Floating Temple" in Hiroshima perfecture, Japan. The big red Torii on the sea is not only a symble of the temple, but also almost an icon of Japan and appeared in many tourism books about Japan. This is the close-up view of the sign board in the inner side of the torii, however, it isn't written in its current name "嚴島神社", but the temple's old name "伊都岐島神社" mentioned in a old Japanese history book.

嚴島神社是一座非常著名的日本神社，位於廣島縣境內的離島－－嚴島上，自古以來就一直是當地居民的宗教聖地。位於神社外海濱上的紅色大鳥居除了是嚴島神社最著名的建築物外，也幾乎是日本的象徵物之一。照片中見到的是懸掛在大鳥居內側的匾額近照，值得注意的是內側匾額上寫著的是神社的古名「伊都岐島神社」，懸掛在外側面海的匾額上才是寫「嚴島神社」。
