周学章1923年取得美国哥伦比亚大学教育学博士学位后立刻回国服务，曾先后任厦门大学教授，河北大学教授，教务长，代理校长，国立师范大学研究院导师等职务。周学章1926年应邀去燕京大学任教育系教授，主讲教育学。他1935-1941年任教育系主任，1930-1933年和1938-1942年期间任燕京大学文学院院长。
English: Henry Hsueh-Chang Chou (1893-1945), also known as Zhou XueZhang, was from Hebei Tianjin, China and was a famous Chinese educator in modern times. From 1924 until his death, he served as a professor at the Institute of Xiamen University (Amoy University), a professor at the National University of China, and a professor at Hebei University, as well as a provost and acting principal. In 1926, Dr. Chou was invited to be a professor in the Department of Education at Yenching University. From 1935-1941, he was elected and served as the Chairman of the Department. From 1930-1933 and 1938-1942, he served as the Dean of the College of Arts and Letters at Yenching University. |
